This is great news. For a while now the club has adopted the approach of complementing our strong playing membership with a player coach. Someone who brings a degree of professionalism, experience of playing at a higher standard of cricket and coaching expertise to the club but can also add value on the pitch as well. From Tim van Noort to Matt Machan, we’ve had some really excellent coaches come to our club and we’re excited to tell you that in 2025 Nathan Poole can be added to this list.

Nathan has been playing his cricket at Preston Nomads for some years and previously he played minor counties cricket for Suffolk. He is a batsman and an ECB Level 2 coach.

Last season he helped Nomads win the Sussex Premier League scoring 479 runs. We’re confident Nathan will be a real asset to our club.

Please join us in welcoming Nathan into the WCTCC fold.
