Below is some important information about a new digital platform we will be using this coming season that we believe will enhance how you engage with the club, in both junior and senior sections.
In the coming weeks we will be transitioning onto a new digital platform called PLAI Sport.
PLAI is an application designed to facilitate and streamline the running of a sports club, allowing for more effective communication, better organisation, and enhanced engagement for administrators, players and parents.
Effectively, PLAI will replace our current system for collecting membership information and payments. It will also replace Spond for indicating your availability for training, matches and events and for paying match fees.
Some of the key features and benefits of moving to PLAI:
Scheduling: You will have access to a comprehensive calendar of training, matches and events. You'll be able to view schedules, including locations, times, and any last-minute changes, ensuring you're always in the know!
Availability: PLAI will allow you to confirm your availability for training and matches, making it easier for us to plan and manage selection. You can update your availability on the app and let us know about any absences in advance.
Payments: You will have access to a digital payment gateway, allowing you to settle payments for membership, match fees and more.
Communication: the app will provide a centralised platform for club-related communications. You will be able to receive important updates and announcements directly through the app.
IMPORTANT GDPR Notice: We will be transferring your data from LoveAdmin to PLAI Sport on December 2, 2024. If you prefer to not have your data transferred to PLAI, please inform us before this date by emailing membership@wctcc.co.uk.
We understand that many of you may have questions or concerns. Rest assured, a smooth transition plan is in place and we have plenty of time between onboarding and the new outdoor season commences. For those still using Spond this winter, please continue to do so until we advise otherwise.
We will be sharing detailed instructions on how to download and set up the PLAI app, along with any necessary tutorials and assistance, to ensure a hassle-free onboarding experience for everyone!
