2023 Divisions

Updated: Sep 6, 2023

The 2023 Sussex Cricket League divisions are out!

As we know, the First XI will play in Division 2 again this season, welcoming some new opponents to West Chilts for the first time in competitive cricket former skipper Tim Jarvis's current club Brighton & Hove and TVN's former hunting ground Hastings Priory! Also, there is the Swifty Derby to look forward to as Worthing were promoted and we're looking forward to playing against Crowhurst Park and Buxted Park for the first time. Some long road trips in there!

The Second XI welcome Pagham II and Crawley Eagles II into Division 5W after succesful 2022s. Ram and Horsham Trinity both drop down from Div 4. Otherwise it is as you were.

There is much change for the Third XI and Fourth XI who are promoted into Div 8W and Div 11WN respectively. Nice trips to Birdham (formely Stirlands), Arundel II, Henfield II and West Wittering II for the Thirds in there. The Fourths will be entertaining Horley III for the first time along with some familiar foes from recent years. The major change for the Fourth XI is that we have a nine team division, so 16 games instead of 18.
